    Welcome to Our Legacy, Our Future, a site that celebrates the lives of Kentucky women, past and present. This Web site is one piece of a 4-part project resulting from a partnership between the Kentucky Commission on Women, under the Office of the Governor; the Kentucky Department of Education, Division of Equity, Divison of Support Services, and Division of Curriculum; and Kentucky Educational Television. By telling the stories of some of Kentucky's greatest women, Our Legacy, Our Future seeks to encourage: greater voter participation among young women; more women to view public service as a viable career option; more interest in the history of women in Kentucky.
